Delete your entire account
- Open RailStaff and sign in with the Google account you want to delete.
- Open Menu → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm the warning and type DELETE.
- If asked for a fresh sign-in, sign out, sign in again and repeat the deletion immediately.
This deletes the RailStaff Firebase Authentication account and associated cloud profile, journal/app data, mutual transfer request, feedback, chat and account indexes. Community route contributions may be retained in anonymised form so shared route data continues to work. Account-specific local app data on that browser is also cleared.
Delete selected information without deleting the account
- Remove a mutual request from Mutual Partner Finder → Explore Matches → Remove my request.
- Delete individual records or notes from their relevant screens. A deleted working moves to Recently Deleted for 5 days, so you can restore it before it is removed.
There is no bulk "clear everything" action. Apart from the individual deletions listed above, your saved data is removed only when you delete your account. RailStaff never clears your saved workings automatically — not during sync, not when you sign in from another device, and not if you clear your browser data.
Clear data left in your browser
If you used public tools or want to remove offline caches and preferences, clear site data for railstaff.in in your browser settings. Uninstalling the PWA alone may not remove every browser-stored item on all devices.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the in-app controls, email dankeshvar.cs@gmail.com from the Google email used for RailStaff with the subject RailStaff Account Deletion. Include the registered email and clearly request account deletion. Identity may be verified before deletion to protect your account.
Valid requests are normally completed within 7 days. Limited records may be retained only where required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve security, fraud or dispute issues; any such retained data will be restricted from ordinary use.
